Return/Refund Policy

Thank you for choosing Merito Diamond.
We want you to love your jewelry as much as we love creating it. If for any reason you’re not completely satisfied, our refund and return policy is here to help.

Return

  • You may return an item within 15 Business days of receiving your order. (Only For Jewelry)
  • You may return an item within 7 Business days of receiving your order. (Only For Diamond)
  • All returns must be unused, in original condition, and accompanied by all provided documentation, including the lab-grown diamond certificate.
  • Your item must be in the original packaging.
  • Once your return is received, we will inspect the item and confirm with you.
  • After inspection, we will inform you of the status of your refund.
  • If approved, the refund will be processed to your original method of payment.
  • The credited amount will reflect within 1–3 working days, subject to your card issuer’s policies.

Shipping & Handling for Returns

  • Returns within the U.S. are free and include a prepaid, insured FedEx label.
  • Print the label, repack the item in its original packaging with the diamond certificates, and drop it off at the nearest FedEx location or schedule a pickup.
  • A $130 fee will be charged if the diamond certificate is not returned.
  • For international orders, we cover return shipping costs according to the customer’s country.
  • Once we provide the return address, please ship the item and send us the shipping receipt to receive reimbursement.

Custom Jewelry & Special Items

  • Custom jewelry items are eligible for return with a 75% refund of the purchase amount.
  • This policy applies due to the personalized nature of custom designs.
  • To ensure quality and safety, items that have been modified, engraved, or resized by a local jeweler or any company other than Merito Diamond are not eligible for return.
  • Note: Two items/returns/exchanges are allowed per customer, per year.
  • Returns that are worn or damaged in any way will not be accepted for refund.

High Jewelry & Condition-Based Refunds

  • High Jewelry items are eligible for return in the form of store credit only.
  • This will be clearly noted on the product detail page when applicable.
  • Please note that our Lifetime Manufacturing Warranty and repair services remain available and can be used at any time for your peace of mind.
  • Upon inspection of the returned product, if any signs of wear, scratches, damage, or metal issues are found on items such as rings or bands, a refund of 60% will be issued.
  • If the product is found to be in unused, original condition with no damage, a 100% refund will be provided.
